what it is
a perl script that will autogenerate slides given a directory of images.

what it needs
slider needs the following support software in order to work.

• Image::Size

how it works
slider can be run in interactive and batch mode. interactive is recommended in most cases. config options may be changed in the script.

the default output directory is the current directory. you may move the generated files after generation is complete provided that the file structure relative to the image directory does not change.

what else is there
thumbelizer can generate thumbnails.

slider can be run in thumbelizer compat mode. this is set with $config{thumbelizer_compat} = 1. with this option set, slider needs to be run in the slides/ subdirectory of the particular set.
